What's the difference between free and paid?
Free gives you everything you need to think, plan, and get set up — your website, your email, your plans, and unlimited conversation. Paid is for when you want MadMantra to actually do the work for you instead of just suggesting it: writing the emails, updating the site, sending the messages.
What's an 'action'?
An action is anything MadMantra does for you: a website update, an email sent, a piece of writing drafted, a task carried out. Conversation, planning, and looking at your business — those are always free, even on the paid plan.
What if I run out of actions?
You can keep talking to MadMantra and asking for plans, but it will pause on doing things for you until your next billing cycle. If you regularly need more, you can add a bigger monthly bundle to your plan anytime — it just changes how many actions you get each month.
What happens at the end of each month?
Each renewal adds your monthly actions to your existing balance, capped at three months' worth so unused months stack without piling up forever. Top-up packs (if you buy them) stack on top and never expire on their own — they stay until you use them or cancel.
What happens if I cancel?
Cancelling stops the next renewal — you keep full access through the end of the current paid period, then the subscription ends. Remaining action credits are wiped at that point. All charges are non-refundable; we don't issue partial-month refunds. Your account and company data stay where you left them — resubscribe anytime and everything comes back exactly as you had it.
Why $29 and not free or $99?
It's the smallest amount that lets MadMantra cover its costs without cutting corners on what it does for you. Cheaper would mean we'd have to take shortcuts. More expensive would mean it's not really for solo founders anymore.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The free plan needs nothing — no card, no billing details. You only enter a card if you decide you want the paid plan.
